About
Mikimoto is Japan's representative jeweller, founded by Kokichi Mikimoto, who in 1893 became the first in the world to successfully culture a pearl. Guided by the founder's vision of adorning all women in the world with pearls, the house has spent more than a century cultivating beauty, crafting Akoya and South Sea pearl necklaces, bridal rings and high jewellery collections such as L'Éclat, launched in Paris and unveiled in Asia in Beijing. In Singapore, Mikimoto operates a dedicated online boutique in Singapore dollars and a boutique at Takashimaya Shopping Centre on Orchard Road, where clients discover pearls set with diamonds in gold and platinum.
