About
Founded in Paris in 1780 by Marie-Étienne Nitot, Chaumet is one of France's oldest jewellery houses, jeweller to Emperor Napoleon I and purveyor to the Empress Joséphine, its eternal muse. In 1812 it became the first jeweller to set up on Place Vendôme — its home since 1907 has been number 12, where its high jewellery atelier still crafts tiaras, aigrettes, wedding rings and watches in gold, platinum, diamonds and coloured gemstones. A member of LVMH since 1999, the Maison is celebrated for the Joséphine, Bee de Chaumet, Liens and Bee My Love collections, and designed the medals of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. Its newest Singapore boutique shines at ION Orchard on Orchard Road.
